went K with Sandy & Claudine yesterday....
it's been quite a while since i last sang. i miss singing sooooo much..
We went to Partyworld at Woodlands. I've never been to any KTVs except KBox. and i still feel that KBox is still the best in terms of ambience, song quality and duration. Partyworld is not bad lah. the bubble tea is nice! and the price is a bit cheaper. but we only sang 4 hours. and it was weird coz there was lighting in the room instead of the dim lights at KBox. the mood wasn't really there...
But all in all...it was ok lah. first time going out with the 2 girls. they were really fun too be with. Super chatty, extremely talkative. can hear a lot of gossip from them. Both singing voices were quite good as well, although Claudine needed a bit of a warm up haha...we sang a lot of very tough songs, those need to go very high one eg A*Mei....and majority of the times we went out of tune, which led to a few laughing fits...
I sang Jay Chou's Hei Se You Mo. and when came to the "Shuo San, Ni Xiang Hen Jiu Le Ba" part....i used a bit of the falsetto. And they started laughing and laughing. they said that part sounded like Ah Du...called me the female version of Ah Du. made me laugh so hard too!...from then on all the high notes i cannot hit coz i start laughing when i think of Ah Du. aiyo...
i hate chinese. i don't hate speaking or watching chinese shows. I hate learning the language. but when it comes to chinese songs, i can just learn the lyrics of 1 song in 30 mins. it's ironic in a way. i guess it's the passion i have for music. i used to only listen english songs...only few years ago than i started listening to chinese songs. i still remember the first time i went k. my friends all sang chinese songs and i couldn't even sing 1! i was sitting there listening, and i started to grow a liking for chinese songs. since then i made a vow to learn as many as possible.
Can't wait for the next KTV session!!
almost 3 weeks at MB. felt like 3 months. so tired already. when are they gonna put be back?

12 Jan, SDC retreat to Malacca.
I was actually looking forward to it, coz i haven't seen the colleagues for quite some time. Thought it would be fun.
Well, it wasn't exactly fun. Most of the time was spent on travelling. To and fro took almost 8 hours, so time left was very little, and definitely not enough.
The itinary was planned mostly on eating. Breakfast we had Roti Prata, Lunch we had Laksa(not nice 1) & Chicken Rice(Not bad), Dinner we had a few big dishes with rice at this seafood restaurant. But didn't eat much though, no appetite.
After eating, was Shopping. brought us to those shop selling local products, and we stopped over to shop at some of the malls too. bought quite a lot of stuff, mostly food, except of a pair of nice sunglasses worth RM 10. Cheap! Spent a total of RM 110. We only had 1.5 hours at the malls! Could have spent more if we had more time....
That's bout it. Really. quite boring i should say. But it wasn't so bad with the company of Sharon, Benny, Jerry and Elthea. Thank god. They really provided the entertainment!
Reached home with a painful headache plus stomachache. i think i was seriously bus-sick. the seats wasn't very comfortable. Until now still got a bit of headache...
Hope next time they can organise a better trip. and give us more time for shopping! :P

MM Lee was here at MB.
And she said she want to schedule me to do the tour.
she said she's not qualified to do the tour.
I said Are You Crazy?!!
U want ME to do a tour for MM Lee?
You are not qualified, and I'M qualified?
You must kidding.
In the end no need tour, coz he only came to look around.
I almost got a heart attack.
Anyway, i don't think PUB will want us to do the tour lah.
He's more like a VVVVVIP loh. I mean the whole Barrage is literally his VISION loh.
hmmm....i should have went up to him and tell him we share the same birthdate.
I'm sure he'll be very surprised. haha.
had dinner with Lincoln the other day. He was an ex-colleague.
we wanted to have a makan session since early last year i think.
But both of us were busy with work.
finally we met up.
the last time i saw him was like more than a year ago, since i left the company.
catch up lots with him.
It's nice to meet up with people whom i never seen for a long time.
We always have lots to talk about.
Sad to say, i have lost contact with a lot of friends already.
Qiu Ling, Mei Ling, Simin, Jessica, James, Angeline
I had many fun and enjoyable times with them.
Miss them lots.
Hope they are doing fine now....
