off day! yay! :P
guess what happen yesterday? me and Shuyi acted as extras!!! hahahaha...we were at Hagen Daz at Holland Village, and Jeanette and Angus were supposed to buy ice cream. Shuyi said maybe we could buy some ice cream too, and sit at the table behind the actors, pretending to be customers...i was like YEAH!, why not, besides, the ice cream they displayed looked so yummy. So i bought a Stawberry 1 (Free!, it's inside the production money =] ), Shuyi a Chocolate Crunch 1, and sat at the table, savouring our ice cream! hahaha.....the cameraman was like, "Hou mian liang ge, Tai Guo Fen Le!"...everybody laughed. :P after the scene, the whole crew was treated to an ice cream cone each. :)
yesterday was one the more relaxed one. if only every day were like this. :P
tomorrow is Graduation day! yay! although i have to wear an "extra formal" outfit (which i would literally die of heat in), and sit in my seat for 2 hours listening to crap, i'm still looking forward to it lah. :D

a much needed off day. :P
i've been working my socks off since i dunno when. but i can't complain can i?, any pressure or obstacles that i encounter, i'll be able to overcome it, coz i tell myself that i'm working in my dream company. it's a great motivation for me. everytime i see artistes walking pass me, and giving a friendly nod or smile, i would be so happy. it's just so unbelievable. just a few months ago i was still this TV fanatic, always glued to my TV set, watching my favorite channel 8 dramas. now?, i'm actually PART of the filming production. i feel so lucky. :)
we finally got to filmed in the studio yesterday. since the start of the production, it has been outdoor, outdoor and outdoor. i was waiting for the time when we had studio filming!...it's defintely more relaxed than outdoor lah, so much so that i have nothing to do on most occasions. now i'm starting to like outdoor filming already. haha.
can't think of anything more to write at the moment....maybe coz i'm really too tired lah. tmr 9am. arghh! but i CANNOT complain. =)
looking forward to Thurs graduation. ;)

been almost 1 week since i've updated. sorry to all those loyal readers out there. (if there are that is! :P) very very very busy these few days. for the past week have been waking up at like 5.30am, coz the start filming time is 8am. haiz. dunno what my AP doing, why always 8am. but cannot blame her lah, maybe she has to go by the rules or something.
these few days better liao, never make so many mistakes liao. but still got that "new blood" in me. haha. i realised that the overseas artistes are actually very friendly and kind-hearted. now i can chat with Angus like a friend. and Mi Xue always when filming wrapped up, she'll say "xin ku le!", and pat me on the shoulder. the 2 china artistes, Chen Gang & Chen Jie are also ok. was surprised that i could actually understand what their saying. the thing is that they don't understand what i AM saying. haha. my spoken chinese really sucks huh! :P
1 very very unexpected thing is that, Jeanette became very good. as in, now she always smiles at me, and calls me by name. i think coz she's in a good mood lah. maybe last time she's really tired or something. but still, i think she's not professional. coz there was 1 time when she took MC(she had only low blood pressure), and my team had to cancel her scenes. haiz. and she ALWAYS take a long time when picking out outfits, make us wait for her. and you don't want to see her in a bad mood, coz i think her face will be like totally black or something. haha....but ok lah, at least she talks to me. :)
so far everything is a ok. just hope that i don't make anymore mistakes lah. and that my busy director will find time to chat with me. haha...1 thing i have to say, my director is so cute!, he even posed a dancing position for us!, like cartoon style. can you imagine!...so hilarious loh! :)
eventhough i'm enjoying my work now, i still miss school....

yesterday started first day of filming. very very tiring. and very stressful also. so many things to do at 1 time...until i also luan liao.
made a lot of mistakes today...most of them are minor ones lah, but there's 1 major one, which i really regretted. actually it wasn't entirely my mistake, but i'm partly to be blame lah. one of the part-timer lost her bag, with the valuables inside. coz we were moving to another location, only me and the artistes, while the crew and part-timers stayed to film the last scene. i took all the outfits, plus the micellanoeus stuff, and i left her bag at the location, coz i thought she'll take it afterwards. but she forgot, and when we went back to search for it, it was gone. :( she was very sad, and i felt like crying with her, coz if it was me, i would also be very upset. but the thing is, when she left on the motorbike (another part-time sent her), she said she saw her bag, but she didn't stop to take it. like, hah?, so it's my fault, or hers?....anyway, now i learnt my lesson liao, next time bring EVERYTHING up the bus.
another mistake i made....Shuyi asked me find the MCS bus, and bring Jeanette back to Make-up. so i went around to look for it, but it was nowhere to be seen. so i went back, running, coz i thought the task was urgent. but so suay, they were filming a Topshot at that moment, as in the camera crew were filming from the top while the artistes are below. so i was like running across the area where i could be seen. the people below were angry, saying why was i running across when they were filming??....dunno if the director/cameraman were angry not, coz i couldn't see them as they were upstairs....but how i know??!! how i know they were filming a Topshot?, they didn't tell me what! aiyo.
on the brighter side, got along well with the main actor, Angus, from Taiwan. chatted with him while eating lunch. he asked me a lot of stuff about S'pore, and i asked him if he likes the filming here. he says it's good, very different from Taiwan. he told me that in Taiwan, when it's lunch break, they'll eat the Bian Dang thingy, instead of eating at hawker centers here! :P i would say Angus is very good-looking, only a bit short for a guy lah. but he's defintely very friendly. :D
Jeanette Aw, on the other hand....my judgement is correct after all. She Sucks. her attitude very bad. she did ask for my name lah, but that's it. she can be very rude at times, like when she's not interested in something, she'll ignore what you are saying. for eg this incident, when she was sleeping in the bus, and i brought back her sweater, which was left outside...Me(softly): "Ou Xuan, ni de sweater"....she opened her eyes, and looked at me, with that bored look on her face, and like grabbed the sweater and throw it beside her loh.... wah lao! i so good bring back the sweater for her leh!.. ok, i interupted her sleep lah, but no need to say xie xie, smile a bit also cannot ah. see your moody face, i will also become moody loh! -_- ...she's also VERY fake. as in like to Sa Jiao a lot. coz when we were filming, she was still laughing over the previous joke. the director says action already, and she still laughing. like the joke was so funny until can laugh non-stop? it's more like she wants to show us that she so cute and stuff. Pui!
haiz. filming this drama is not exactly good. i really miss working with our local artistes, they are so much more easier to manage. (Except JW) i must Ren for another 2 months. maybe it'll be better as the time goes by.
P.S: we usually pronouce Angus as An-Ge-S right? Director actually pronouce is as Ang-Gus!.... AngGus! AngGus! omg, i laughed like siao! haha. and he asked Angus if he has a brother. named September! wahahaa...my director ah, damn comical. :P

yesterday went for "location seeing", or Kan Jing in chinese. as in we have to go to all the locations that we intend to film to check them out...kinda like for filming preparation lah. actually i wasn't scheduled to go, but Shuyi asked me if i want to follow them, i say ok loh, at least can learn some stuff mah...
we went to quite a number of locations. but the main location, and i mean really MAIN, is at NAFA. we have like 70% of the scenes there, a very large amount for a drama, coz usually 1 location we'll only have about 5 scenes. but bo bian this drama is a dancing one, so most of the scenes have to be shot at dance studios.
learnt a lot from the experience. now i know more about the job of an AP. quite different from PA, a lot more stuff to do. thanks to Shuyi, who willingly explained to me about her job. :) got to interact with director Guang Rong too. wah, i really like him!! he's so easy-going and humorous!, gets along well with everyone!...there was the time, when we were eating lunch at a coffee shop, he ordered beer. he asked Shuyi if she can drink beer, she says cannot!, her whole face will turn red. than he asked me can drink beer not, i said yep (which is true), and he offered me his! i was like, er, don't want lah!, bu hao yi si. :P haha
also attended the praying ceremony. heard of it before, and now i have the chance to actually see how it's like! basically, everyone who's involved in the drama were present. they had this enormous dish, which looks like pig meat (zhu rou), and other small dishes, like chicken, bee hoon and stuff, laid in front of us...combined with a big urn, to put our jossticks. all of us prayed for the drama to be filmed smoothly. oh, saw Julian Hee too, he's really handsome. very muscular. :D and Jeanette's hair style in the show sucks!, omg, it looks like there's a bird nest on her head! wait 'till the show airs, and you'll know what i mean. :P
P.S: amendment from the last post. main actor Angus Kok is from TAIWAN, not hk. got confused liao. :P and if any Jeanette/Julian fans out there who want to catch them, just go to NAFA one of these days. confirm can see them 1. :D
