i'm sick.

again.

if an AP is sick, it's as good as being paralysed. basically you can't do anything. so i HATE being sick! luckily i'm not filming now, if not who can take over me?

AP cannot take MC loh.

that's how cruel the job is.

the irony is that i'm in office now doing rundowns, and waiting for artistes so that i can give it to them. haiz...what's being sick man? i still have to come to work loh.

having a serious headache...

and my voice is starting to sound like quacking.

looks like i have to make a trip to the clinic again.

i just realise how english songs rock. the 3 songs in the playlist below, i heard them before, but i didn't think they were good. but dunno why when i listened to them now, i'm suddenly addicted..you know, like when you have the urge to play the song again and again?

Was influenced by colleagues to hear mandarin songs, coz they don't sing english songs in KTV, and they rarely discuss about them too. so naturally i started hear and sing mandarin songs. For a period of time, i tried to learn as many of them as i could so i would not be left out. and i have to admit, my chinese did improve a bit because of that. i even know how to read Fan Ti Zi now.

Neglected a lot of english songs. I didn't even know Justin Timberlake released the What Goes Around single. Being a Justin fan, how could i have missed that? argh. i heard the starting beat, and i was already hooked. the lyrics are also meaningful, eventhough i'm not a guy who got cheated by a girl (haha), but i can feel the feeling just by hearing the song. in fact, i realised that english songs have a lot more meaning to their lyrics compared to mandarin songs. Complete with strong vocals (eg:Beyonce, Christina)...wow.

no wonder so many people say that english songs are so much harder to sing. when i first listened to songs by, like, Jay Chou, Jolin Tsai, JJ Lin etc...i thought, omg, these are chicken feet compared to people like Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys. of course there are good ones like A Mei, Coco Lee. but not good enough.

anyway, i have learnt to cherish english songs a lot more.

listening to Mariah, Whitney, Aretha, MJ, brings back memories.

i cannot imagine life without music.

It's my motivation, my inspiration.

P.S: if want to improve your chinese, you may want to learn the songs. it helps.
