Met Amanda today. both of us got nothing to do, so decided to just hang out together.went to school first. no particular reason lah, i guess we miss school too much?..haha. searched for jobs online. wah, i see until eyes pain leh, there were like pages and pages of jobs loh. in the end i gave up, i'll just go back to the classifieds. :P introduced Amanda to my blog, was really surprised that she didn't know about it!
ate lunch at Foodcourt 4. wah, i really miss the food at SP! they are just delicious! i suddenly have a craving for the western food and chicken rice at Foodcourt 3. :P chatted a lot with Amanda. it's always a joy to hang out with her. she's very different from other friends, as in we always have the same thoughts about stuff. i can safely say that i don't have more than 2 friends who are in the same league as me. :(
went to the cafe at T16. can you believe that i have never stepped in there in the 3 years at poly?....decided to just try the drinks there, coz think will not have a chance to try it again. ordered an Iced Mocha. and wow, it's really nice!, and at an affordable price too! why didn't i thought of trying it earlier?! :P
made our way to City Hall, coz we wanted to go to a job agency, called NTUC center, recommended by Amanda's mum. but when we reached there, we realised that the building was NTUC INCOME instead, as in they are doing insurance there, instead of finding jobs for people. no choice have to ask the receptionist. turns out that the agency was relocated to Raffles Place. aiyo.
we walked all the way from CH to RP. luckily the previous company that i went was near the agency, so i knew the way. but still, we should have taken a bus, coz we had to walk like 20 mins?! and the stupid weather so hot loh. :P finally we reached there, and we were asked to fill in a form. the lady who gave us the forms was not friendly at all. we didn't know what was the procedure like, coz the lady spoke broken english, couldn't grasp what she said. the service was like sh*t! but whatever, we just filled in the form and quickly got out of there. hope they don't match us with weird jobs or something. :P not exactly a good day lah. but definitely better than staying at home. :D

wanted to initially write reviews on the TV shows that i'm currently seeing. but i only came up with JZR for channel 8!! haha...that show will be in a separate, and much longer review that i'll write another day. so now it leaves with only the reality shows on Channel 5. yeah, i'm a reality show freak!, you're wrong if you think i only watch chinese shows. :PAmerican Idol (Wed & Thurs, 8.30pm)
started seeing from season 2. i got addicted after watching it the first time. the best thing about the show is the Auditions part! it's always so hilarious!! seriously, if you can't sing, why go join right? in the end you're making a fool of yourself! :P well, this season however, i find it really boring. it kinda loses it's appeal already, like there's no excitement that the previous seasons had. maybe coz none of the contestants are exceptionally good. i mean, Kelly, Ruben and Fantasia are absoloutely FANNTASTIC! this season?, none of them are actually on par with those 3. but nevertheless, there are still some favourites lah. i like Carrie & Vonzell, the 2 remaining girls left. they have the potiential. the guys,..was a fan of Anwar & Nikko, but damn, they were out. :( hope the 2 girls will be in the finals. and Scott, arghh, why is he still in the competition! i don't like his singing! out you go! :P

Survivor (Fri, 10pm)
this show has so many seasons already! was a loyal fan way back when it first started. i think this was the first reality show that i saw on Ch 5. but like AI, this season of Survivor is not as good as the previous ones. whats happening to reality shows nowadays!, each season is getting worse! :P .... what i like about Survivor however, is the challenges. they always come up with all the cool stuff. and it is fun watching the survivors competing to get the reward and immunity. i hate the Koror tribe. win all the challenges and become so proud. Ulong tribe so poor thing, not 1 member in the remaining 6. :( was rooting for Steph (like Rachel), the only Koror member left. she's so strong!, so determined to win the million dollars! but than the stupid Koror, go vote her out. haiz. now no Steph no fun liao. think next season i don't want to see already. :P

Amazing Race (Wed, 10.30pm)
the best out of the 3 reality shows! :D coz it's getting more and more interesting every season. i just love the whole concept of going around the world to win the million $, with obstacles like detours and road blocks and stuff.....it's so cool to see all the beautiful countries and the nice sceneries. even my Mum sees Amazing Race. haha. this season is really interesting, partly coz they have a few twists, and partly coz of Rob and Amber, the ex-survivors. without them, this season wouldn't so good. actually i hated them when they were in Survivor. (don't kill me Rach :P) but after AR, i'm starting to like them a lot. i think they are the best team out of the rest, simply coz they are better racers. the other teams are not bad also lah. i admire Meridth & Gretchen,... for their age, it's quite an accomplishment to be so far in the race. and Joyce, omg, she shaved her hair to get the Fast Forward! wow. anyway, i'm rooting for Rob and Amber. Hope Ron & Kelly are the ones to get eliminated next. :D
