first 2 days were cool.
funny, coz usually when starting a new drama, i'll be like very lost. but this time not really lah. maybe coz i'm used everything already.
my AP is ok. only a bit "loud". if you know what i mean. her voice is like 100 decibels above mine? and she can suddenly let out a loud guffaw? which is a bit scary. i'm the total opposite. haha.
as for the artistes. Chris & Nanxing has their own PA, so didn't get to really interact with them. but one thing's for sure, Chris is a joker man! likes to talk a lot, and makes everyone laugh! Nanxing on the other hand, is a bit more reserved. he still talks and laughs with us, but maybe not as much as Chris. you may think that Nanxing is arrogant and has bad attitude, coz he an Ah Ge lah blah blah blah (although we do call him Ah Ge. haha), but no. not at all. he's VERY likeable. surprisingly, he speaks quite good english! :P got to work with Jeanette again for this drama. which is another plus. at least i know 1 of the artise. and she remembers my name. phew. :D
got know Nanxng's PA, Jessica, who has a lot in common with me. she likes singing and dancing, like me. and stays in Woodlands, which is very close to mine, so we can take bus or share cab back home. :) because of that, we use the time to gossip about the MCS artistes. haha. and she's so blur about how to conti the clothes!, i had to "impart my knowledge" to her. glad to of course. enjoyed her company very much. :D
well, that's bout it. just hope that the next few months will go smoothly as well. :)

i'll not be an AP yet. :)
i have at least 1 more drama to go before i be an AP.
i think most probably they don't have any AP position available yet.
heng ah.
i have to really treasure this opportunity and learn everything possible.
and guess what's my next drama?

I don't want to be an AP!
i was so worried after i attended the sessions. there are like piles and piles of stuff for you to do. it's not only just helping out on set, you have to also be involved in the pre and post production. pre production as in like going to meetings with the different departments, casting, location, designers, facilites etc, and discuss with them the details needed for the production. plus you have to read the scripts very thoroughly, and list down the props or setting needed for every scene. and plus you have to come out with the rundown everyday, and make sure every artiste gets it.
post production for eg going to the editing room with the director & sit through the editing process, i don't know exactly why except to record the tape numbers for the 1st, 2nd and Master Edit (i probably forgot the other reasons). and when i heard this task which APs also need to do, i was surprised. do you know that APs also have to come out with the content for the credits too? as in those words you see at the end of the show. you have to get the logos of the sponsers lah, list down all the artistes that are involved in that particular episode and also collate all the names of people who have helped out in the production. quite stupid in my opinion.
to put the long story short, if you messed even one small thing, you are screwed. that's how important the role of AP is. not that i'm scared or anything. just that the whole thing seems very err.....Scary?

still no news of my new drama. i dunno if i'm gonna be an AP for my next drama. not that i'm complaining lah. either they really don't have any drama at the moment, or they have completely forgotten about me. :P
