i decided to follow Larry's idea. i'm gonna describe my classmates. :D :D

Simin - i'm most close with her. my FYP partner, lab partner, and we always ended up studying the same elective too. haha. the smartest amoung us, never fail to listen in lectures, whereas the others are sleeping (including me). :P i'm amazed at how quick she is when taking notes. because of that, everyone will go to her during tests/exams periods. Without her, i wouldn't have passed some of the modules. she never told me this, but i'm pretty sure that her ambition is to be a Teacher. which i think, is so appropriate!! :)

Mei Ying - blur queen. the slowest at absorbing stuff. but she's also very fun to be with. can joke a lot. it wasn't like that initially. until she started dating. She looks really happy with her bf. and i'm happy for her! =)

Xiao Han - only got to know her better in Year 2, after she joined our 'gang'. she's the only 1 that speaks acceptable english compared to the other 3. so i'm at ease when chatting with her. :) it's never boring with her around...

Hui Xian - never really interacted with her. only recently when she joined us for the Tech project, that got the chance to really talk to her. she's a very busy girl, with her club activities and stuff. being a member of the EEE club, i suppose she has a lot of contacts...so she's rather popular in the class, maybe in the whole of the Third year batch even. she comes across as quite serious to me. like mean business that kind. but she's a good groupmate lah...always giving ideas and volunteering.

that's all for the girls! very little huh. that's because 2 quitted, and 2 repeated. :P ...wished we had more girls in my class.

Alver - oldest amoung us. but can easily pass off as the youngest. haha. all of us treat him as our 'big brother'. i must say, he's the most boldest and goofiest guy i've ever met. but because of the age gap, i find that we don't really click. very grateful of the help that he has given me though. he did something this sem that most of us wouldn't do. which is grouping us into teams for the CSW role play. i mean, who would actually write down all the names and rack their brains to group them?! ..for that, i salute him. :D ....was in his group for the Marketing project, and we worked quite well together.

James - of all the guys in the class, i get along best with him. the reason is probably because he's only half cheena. he sounds as equally weird as me when speaking chinese. hahaha. well, even though some people may disagree and protest, i still have to say this. he's the sweetest guy in class. the only guy that actually come and really talked to me loh, when others just spoke a sentence or two. and i enjoyed chatting with him...esp online. :) appreciate it James! God bless you! ;)

Wei Jie - he's the most good-looking in the class. (to those who may get the wrong idea, i said MOST). and he's very friendly and kind too. like trying to start a conversation, or offering help and stuff. but like most of the other guys, i don't really click with him.

Wen Jie - nothing to say.

Ming You - he gives me the impression that he's shy and quiet. but like Wei Jie, he's still very friendly lah. a guitarist, he never fails to invite us to his concerts. i find musicians really cool...or rather i admire those who can play instruments. coz i do not play any (no time to learn). but most of us usually reject his offers to the concerts. although i find musicians cool, i don't have the interest in going to this kinda events lah. so i'm really sorry, Ming You. :)

Li Seng - his english is very broken. hahah... i always have the urge the laugh when talking to him. :P he's quite different from the other guys, coz he joined our 'gang', instead of going with the guys. maybe he gets along better with girls?!...wahhaha..he helps us in a lot of stuff, and makes decisions for us. very glad to have him in our group. :) :)

Guo Wei - dunno what to say. if people dunno hor, they will think he's not in our class.

Junda - the most ah-bengish of the whole lot. to me, he's considered an ah-beng liao, although some may think he's not. this guy, very comical 1....he provides all the humor. worked with him for CSW role play, where he was the chairperson, and i was the secretary. the most unlikely designation lah. hahah...but we had fun. and i noticed when he speaks english, he ends most of the words with a 's' behind,...which i think is pretty funny. well, it definitely helps that he's dating my best friend from sec sch. :D ..nothing against you Junda, but i was surprised when i heard that you 2 are together. i thought she wouldn't chose of your type. but these kinda things, you may never know right. wish you two all the best ya. remember to invite me to your wedding! hahahah...

Levin - nothing to say.

Wei Lun - didn't like him at first. thought he was very haughty and egoistical. after working with him for the CSW role play, i changed my opinion of him. he's still a bit proud lah, to me. like he kinda commands everyone's attention when he speaks. but he's very productive when it comes to project work. let's say out of 10 ideas that we came out, 8 is his. haha.... other than that, we do not speak more than 1 word to each other. :P

Kok Qing - nothing to say.

Larry - our beloved class rep. (he's gonna vomit) now i know why he's chosen to be the class rep...coz he's this quiet quiet type, but has the leadership quality in him. and he's clever too. :D a man of a few words, we hardly see him smile. maybe it's his character lah. Larry, next time smile more ok! :) :)

that's the guys! ...sadly, none of them is bf material. hahah.

a pic taken after the end of our exams last sem. :

6 projects to finish in 5 weeks....
OH NO!!! :( :( :(

i realised something today. i'm so at a different league from my friends and classmates. i'm literally the odd 1 out. firstly, i speak english as my first language. and they speak mandarin, which i totally suck at. secondly, i'm like a 'xiao mei mei' to them. coz i'm younger. (but seems like i'm a lot more mature instead). thirdly, their thinking is so far apart from mine. probably because of the 2 reasons above. stuff that they say, sometimes when i hear them, i'll roll my eyes...coz like,..it's so freakin' lame, and not funny at all?!...and because their mandarin is one (more like 3?) levels higher than mine, it's just so hard for me to grasp what they say. if they are jokin' about me i also dunno loh.

seriously, in the 20 years of my life... don't think i met anybody who i can really communicate with, like can talk anything under the sun that kind? ok, maybe there are a few, like Qiu Ling, Amanda, & hm...Rachel. & that's all! the others are just so CHEENA. they probably think this girl is from some high class school, like Raffles/St.-whatever. and her father is a banker with like 3 cars or something. (ok, i'm exaggerating.) which is NOT TRUE?...maybe poly has a lot of cheena people? :P i wished i studied a lot harder for O levels, and get into JC,...so i can be with people who are my type!!

a word like "sweetest" can mean a totally different thing to them. well, can't blame them lah, coz my english is like 3 levels higher than them. :P and they actually take this and gossip about it loh. i'm so like,...irritated?.... *rolls eyes*

haiz....this is so stupid...

maybe i should go back to my nerdy days.

tests finished. yay!.... ok, i don't sound too happy do i.

WAD test got 66/100. disappointed. there was no way i could get a C for a multiple choice test. those test are supposed to be much easier to score, right? damn it! argh.

helped Liseng they all with the narrating of their video. they say the first person they think of for the narrator was me. but like, i don't think i'm good enough loh. always speak english doesn't mean can narrate right?...dunno my voice can suit their video not... got so many parts to narrate loh. it's not like a few sentences or what. like, 2/3 paragraphs for every section?...but i don't mind doing it for them lah. :)

haiz...sian lah..nothing to do.....

oh!, suddenly thought of something.

[You're the one] JUST ROCKS!!!! it's been a long time since i was that interested in a drama. It's very light-hearted and entertaining!! :D plus it teaches you a lot of stuff too. hmm...maybe i'll elaborate on the characters.

Meiman (Chen Song Ling)
i admire her man! i'm sure every woman wants to be like her...including me. she's so independent. even with her good looks, she doesn't need a man by her side..unlike her sisters, always fussing bout men. and she's a good sister too. making Meide realise the importance of working for money, and also being there for Meili whenever she's down. i find the 'fighting' between Meiman & Raymond really cute! i think couples should be like that, not always going along with their partner's decision. must argue a bit mah, so that the relationship will not be stale.

Chen Song Ling is a fresh face on TV. it's not easy speaking accurate mandarin for a Hongkong'er. she did really well! :)

Meide (Rui En)
don't really like this kind of girls. in fact i think this type bring disgrace to the whole of the female community. all Meide does is use her 'beauty' to attract guys. this is so called flirting. and it disgust me. the worst is she always ask for money from her family! don't know how to earn herself. ok, maybe ask occasionally can lah. but Meide is like everytime she needs money (to buy her so-called branded clothes and cosmetics), she just pop out her hand and she'll get it. luckily there's Meiman to reprimand her.
Rui En doesn't appeal to me. she's not that pretty lah. and i find her pronounciation a bit funny. but acting wise is ok.

Meili (Jacelyn Tay)
I LOVE MEILI!!! she's SO CUTE! hahah....she just bring laughs to the whole show. she has a really good heart despite being not good looking. i pitied her when she cries after failing at the matchmaking sessions. this girl deserves a good man. love the way she laughs too, it's so contagious! :D and everytime Meili interacts with Simon, i will laugh like nobody's business. cos it's just SO FUNNY! :) :) ...oh, and Meili's job..is like my dream 1??! hahah...those scenes at MCS,.. make me miss going there :P
this show make me like Jacelyn a lot more. she totally transformed herself loh.....hmm...in summary, she protrayed her role very well lah, not like other 'ugly roles'. think she'll get the Best Actress at this year's Star Awards. :)

An Zhengxi (Terence Cao)
he's too good to be true. handsome and rich! wow. this type of guys, extinct liao. hahah. he's still like a mama's boy, even at the age of 34. girls will fall for his good looks, but after a while, he'll be boring. maybe every girl would like to date this kinda guy once in their lifetime.
Terence is ok lah. his potential wasn't maxmised in this role. MCS obviously wanted him to look like a korean hunk. but An Zhengxi doesn't look like 1 to me.

Raymond (Chew Chor Meng)
i detest him!!! :\ his ego is so big. as if he's the best in the whole world like that. i hate the way he goes around nagging at his subordinates. and he so conscious about cleaniness. so much so that it's really exggerating. who want to go out with this guy??! aiyo. i definitely don't want someone like him as my boss. i would probably faint. but guess Meiman is gonna change him. they both make a cute couple! :) oh, but i like his chinese name. Shi Leman. as in like, 'Si Raymond'?...extremely appropriate. :)
CCM looks no different, and acts no different in this role as compared to his other ones. think he's more suitable for sitcom/comedy.

Simon (Christopher Lee)
Simon looks cool, and speaks cool too. love his broken mandarin! hahah. he's the other 1 that bring laughs to the show. i like the way he scolds Meili! :D ...a bit hot-tempered but understanding and kind-hearted. wow. i would love to date this kinda guy. :) :) and he sounds really cute when speaking english! "YOU JINX!" hahah...so cute! :) can see why he and Meili got along very well. they make perfect couple!! ;)

Chris did well. ok, maybe he was not that convincing acting as an ABC. but at least he tried! he's always very good at this type of happy-go-lucky roles. like Xin Suo. other than Fann, think Jacelyn is the next best co-star for Chris. :)

can't believe i've actually wrote all that. guess i'm really addicted to the drama! this is 1 of the very few dramas that make me look forward to every episode. can't wait for Monday already!!! :)

P.S. When the hell is Jing Zhong Ren gonna show?! i'm tired of waiting! :D

haha...this is gonna be another special entry. :)

what inspired me?...well, mummy found this suitcase hidden in the storeroom while spring-cleaning last Sat. and we racked our brains to come up with the combination lock. dad was the one who got it right!...haha.. guess what we found?...'teasures' man! all our 'antiques'! we even got mummy's REPORT BOOK!!(how many ages ago loh). and i found quite a num of my childhood photos...even got my childcare graduation pic leh! lols ...looking at those pics, they give me this funny feeling, ..it's like going back to the past again...pretty cool lah! :) ...so i went in search of more of these pics in my house. and i actually found PLENTY!! hahah... since it's the new year, i thought why not bring back the precious memories of my childhood? :)

mummy and me!, taken when i was only 1 years old! :) of course i can't recall anything from that time lah! :P ...many people say i don't look like mummy, and after looking at this pic, i have to agree..she got bigger eyes and nose..and her face shape is different from mine too....oh, & mummy's hair in the pic hor, aiyo,.. look like a cheerleader's pom pom!wahaha...hairstyles in the past, haiz...

"whooo!.. must balance myself!..cannot fall!" :P
when you're a 1 year old, your legs are usually not very stable...

"Don't take my picture!!!"...hahaha....look at how big my mouth is! (with no teeth!)

ahh...that innocent face of mine....cute right?! :D

outside my house!...my 1st house that is. i lived in grandma's house at Clementi for 3 years i think, before moving to Bukit Batok(2nd house) & Yew Tee(current 1 :P)....i remembered always running along the corridors, and sitting on the steps, waiting for mummy & dad to come back home from work....

my parents were really enthusiastic when it comes to taking pictures. which explains why i have so many pictures of my childhood. they asked me to pose with almost anything in the house.
First it was the radio.

than the telephone.

and the tricycle...
i remembered having quite a number of tricycles. it was my fav 'transport'. I would always have so much fun riding it around the small hall of my house!

and posing like a towkay...

with the TV.... (see, at a small age, i was already a TV fan! :D) ....notice the tricycles in the background.. :P

me dancing while Mummy looked on. i LOVED dancing when i was young. i practically breathed dancing. i would always danced to Micheal Jackson songs.....even 'till now!

My new born brother!...so fat!...hahaha...think we were celebrating his first month...look how pretty my outfit is! :)

my childcare graduation picture!...this was my first time wearing the graduation outfit. i looked pretty disgusting in this pic lah, like want to smile don't want to smile like that... :P

performing at the graduation ceremony.....i loved to perform too, seeing the audience enjoying the performance was very satisfying for me. but 1 thing i hated was the amount of make-up i had to put on. i looked very horrendous in make-up. now you know why i'm usually spotted without it. :)

i was very lucky coz my parents occasionally took us on holiday trips. the countries that we went to were Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong & China. This picture was taken on the aeroplane to Genting. My first trip overseas!...see my sian face?, actually i was very scared of planes, coz the Genting trip was also my first time taking a plane....but after experiencing it, i concluded that planes are not so scary after all!...hahaha...

this was snapped outside the hotel in Genting. aiyo...my hair so obiang loh! the fringe was totally straight loh, and the back also so straight!....my parents have absolutely no taste in hairstyles...but my bro looked cute lah, i have to admit :D ...dunno why he become so ugly now :P

our 'family protrait'! haha....we were in Australia...look at the koala bear dad is carrying! how nice!... i must say, this trip is the most memorable..we went to almost every part of Australia!, Syney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Gold Coast..It was SO FUN!! :)

and what's Australia without Kangeroos? :D ...

the night lights of Syney!...cool or what? :) ....i wore mummy's sweater and had on a cool pose to acheive the hip-hop effect!...hahah

ahh yes...we were at the Warner Bros theme park in Gold Coast....this was the most fun part, coz i got to see a lot of cartoon characters,.. and the shows that they had there were awesome!.. :)

~~~
the pics below are not from my childhood. but whatever, i'll put it up anyway.
my primary school mates....we were on an outing to Fort Canning i think....i can't even recall names of the people in the picture loh...7 years is a very long time :D All i remembered is that i was this girl who always top the class in English...and all my classmates were forced to speak to me in Eng, coz i couldn't finish a sentence in chinese...hahah...the teachers had very high hopes on me...but sadly i didn't do very well for my PSLE. :( ...
~ATTN: JUNDA...you will be very interested in the next pic...lols~
Fajar Secondary. where i spent my best 4 years of education. the teachers rocked, and my classmates rocked too!.hm...actually i was this geeky nerd during sec sch,..like those who study everytime, and score high marks for exams that kind. you can probably see that in the pic...i had very little friends. see the girl beside me?...yeah, Qiu Ling was my only close friend then...it's ironic though, coz she was pretty, tall & popular, while i was not pretty, short and a nerd. but surprisingly, we got along pretty well. :) we were like a role model to our classmates. i still remembered once there was this test, when we got back our results, both of us scored the highest, with the same marks. Mrs Ho (our Chem teacher, the one in the pic), praised us in front of the whole class, saying that they have to be like us, help each other out in studies... :) Speaking of Mrs Ho, she is the GREATEST teacher i've ever had. i learnt sooo much from her. so grateful for all her guidance. ;) wonder how my ex-classmates are doing now...i miss them...
well, that's it!...all i can say is that i'm blessed for having such cool parents. they brought me to what i'm today.
but sometimes i wished i was a kid again....
