had my hair cut today. my head feels so light now. :D
something which i didn't believe had happen.
guess what. In 5 days, i bumped into 4 people that i know, just by walking along the streets and in malls.
first i saw the Costume Designer that i worked with for xin fu shuang ren chuang in Heeren. forgot her name. think it's gwen/gwendolyn(or maybe not)... think she was shopping for costumes.
just minutes later, i saw Qiuling in Sakae eating with her friends. so qiao loh.
and 2 days ago, i saw my Sec sch PE teacher walking below MY BLK. shocked man. she is living in YT too??! anyway, don't think she regonised me, since i changed quite a lot since then.
and just today, i saw Eelyn at bukit panjang plaza's NTUC. so happen that they were shooting ying liao law there, think she was a guest. the weirdest thing is that, i walked RIGHT PASS her, and she didn't notice me! maybe it was my haircut?
i always chose not to believe, but Singapore IS so small.
maybe if i stand on Orchard Road someday, i will meet like, 10 friends?
anyone got higher record? haha.

I'M BACK! :P
wanted to blog yesterday, but lazy to type and upload pics.
actually there isn't much pictures, coz the people who were with me are not the kind who like to take. ended up i'm the one who took the most. and the most is like less than 10?
whatever. it's the experience that counts.
ok let me start.
by saying how much i love Changi Airport. something which i'm proud of as a Singaporean. Kinda missed it as it's been a while since i left the country. when the plane was touching down at the airport, the feeling is indescribable. i'm sure most Singaporeans will agree.
Hong Kong. a country which i have been to once, but totally forgotten everything about it. too young then. but this time it was really an eye opener.
can you believe that a lot Hong Kongers cannot speak Chinese, much less English? luckily my mum can speak cantonese, if not we'll really suffer. well, except the tour guides and people at the hotel, the rest really CMI. even waiters and salespersons. first word is always 'Lei Hou', not 'Ni Hao' or 'Hi'. no disrespect, but i was quite surprised. Singapore definitely wins in this area.
One thing very different is the streets. the roads are so narrow, and there are like gazillion signs hanging up around every building. and the air...quite dusty, or rather polluted? Kinda overwhelming when i had the first glimpse.
that's about all the negatives lah.
I LOVE THE FOOD! the dim sum are so delicious! almost everyday we ate at a restaurant. Roasted Goose, Suckling Pig, Lobster... Hmmm....i'm starting salivate.
the shops there are very similar to Singapore. Espcially their SoGo, a lot like Far East & Taka. the prices are a biiiiit cheaper though. didn't buy much, more like window shopped.
went to a few attractions. the ones that i enjoyed the most are Disneyland & the Avenue of Stars. maybe coz i didn't go to any of the other Disneylands before, so i was really wowed. it's like once you enter, everything is so magical, like something out of a dream. loved their design and architecture, the streets, shops, houses are so cartoonish yet real. and i loved the performances! very entertaining. oh...one thing though, the price is quite ex. one adult ticket for HK$350. that's like SG$70. and everything they sell inside also very ex, the souvenirs, foods and stuff. guess they knew that it'll be a big attraction so they decide to make as much profit as possible. clever move.
Avenue of Stars. a place where they displayed the handprints of HK artistes. there was Andy Lau, Anita Mui, Jet Li, Jackie Chan, just to name a few. the stretch of handprints actually ran for like almost 2m?(i think. it was quite a long stretch). and they also showed how HK film industry has involved over the years. they even built statues of people on the production set. oh, and also a BIG statue of Bruce Lee in his karate pose. Cool!
Well that's about it. can't really do much in 4 days.
maybe these few pictures will help describe better.
View of the streets from the Hotel Room
shocked to see True Heroes airing on HK TV
With Jackie's handprint
my shy bro
Entering Disneyland
we came at the right time, as the Disney parade was starting!
Big moving structures!
Dancers with their colourful costumes
That's really it.
spent most of the 4 days dining with Auntie and family.
(yeah i have an Auntie in HK)
i used to like holidaying a lot.
but not now.
with so many news about plane tragedies (choy). it's hard not to be scared.
every moment in the plane was terrifying.
somebody must put a stop to this.
